Engaging the public
The Faith & Politics Institute strengthens democracy by bringing members of Congress and the public they serve together across differences of race, religion and political party in settings that promote understanding through dialogue and reflection.
The Faith & Politics Institute recognizes that much of what members of Congress choose to do is in response to pressures from their constituents. By engaging and educating members' constituents about the importance of reflective leadership, reconciliation and dialogue, the Institute can engage the public as partners in promoting its mission.
We will engage the public through two strategies:
- Increasing engagement in and understanding of FPI's mission among members' constituents
- Broadening FPI's international reachÂ
