Earl Pomeroy is an attorney with Alston & Bird LLP with a practice focused on regulatory and legislative issues, particularly in the areas of healthcare, employee benefits and financial services.

Pomeroy’s professional background includes 18 years as a Member of Congress with service on the Ways and Means Committee, and eight years as North Dakota’s Insurance Commissioner during which time he was elected President of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners by his fellow regulators.

Pomeroy draws upon this unique background in providing strategic counsel and advocacy services at the state and federal levels.

Pomeroy is a member of the Board of Directors for the American Benefits Council and a member of The Tribal Justice Commission.
